LAST TRANSFER CALLS BEFORE COMING HOME!!
Hey guys,
Man ya it's crazy that I am in my LAST transfer already.
This week was pretty good. I had a lot of fun and felt real good.
The begining of the week there wasn't much, but at the same time I am just way glad that the weather is a lot better. I can go out in jeans and a t shirt and feel great. There is a nice breeze and everything. I love the heat. Good thing that I go home to the summer of AZ. I can get rid of all the whiteness on me.
I can't believe that when I get home the ward will have all the people that I basically grew up in the church with all gone out on there missions and then just as quick as I have come and gone, they will too.
There was a baptism on Saturay morning, which was great. She is the girlfriend of the elders quorum president and when I interviewed her she was basically saying that she felt like she needed to move back to the city. She is going to be an awesome member.
Then again on Saturday there was a doughnut party. They need to have krispy kream. they dont know what they are missing.
But there was a big dance there too. I had fun. I definitely need to learn how to dance. It's a dang good workout too. If I do that here and there, there's no need for plyrometrics, man my legs hurt.
Well I've got to get to the store and then to the branch house, we are watching the Other Side of Heaven. Its funny in Hungarian. They translated it to be "the naked heaven".
Well love you guys. Have you gotten my letter yet?
Love Josh

Man everyone is leaving on missoins! I'll get home and 10 guys will be out or going out on their missions. It's nice to hear there is another missionary that isn't going state side.
Next monday is the calls for transfers. It's insane. One more and I'm home. It's been a slower week, but was still pretty good. I felt really sad on Sunday to see not many people come. I love this ward and to see people get up and bear their testimonies. I have had dreams of giving my last testimony to this branch and it's coming up now in a few weeks here, it's soo sad. I'm ready and need to move on with life, but it's sad to know the time is coming soon.
I think that Hungarians have some funny things. They eat bread with almost everything, or almost every meal. Here its normal to blow your nose ANY WHERE, and I mean anywhere. It's looked past like a sneeze. In church, while we eat, anything. They just blow their noses right there. I got used to it too. I used to be sooo embarrassed to blow my nose in front of people, but now at dinner programs at the table, I too find myself blowing my nose, it's kinda funny. They don't even notice or comment on it.
Well it's been a little warmer recently and stuff, but I think that I am way more than ready for the warm. Here I come AZ!
I think that I would love to see Germany and stuff and learn German, but I don't have time to just live over there. So it's great that I will get to at least visit where Opa grew up.
So could you send my card so that I have memory to use? Thanks.
AND how is my guitar doin? I think thats what I miss the most. Just rockin out. UGHHHH cant wait.
But love you guys too. Dont worry.

Well for this week ~
Do you remember me telling you about a Chinese lady that Elder Houstman and I met with a long time ago when I was here? Well because she was in China and stuff for a lot of the holidays, the missionaries have never been able to get ahold of her, but she is back and we met with her last week and we were able to teach her a lesson about how the things we teach can affect people for generations to come.
With that said, we talked about a talk that President Eyring gave about that and read his story about how one of his distant relatives lived in Switzerland and the rest of her family went to Utah to gather with the saints and then she stayed behind and got a job over in Berlin as a seamstress. At the time, it was illegal to preach the gospel, but for some reason she still told the lady she worked for about it, and then with time she ended up having a group of people over in the house and was teaching them about it. She begged the ladies that she taught to not tell anyone, but they couldn't hold it in and so one night a policeman showed up at her door and took her to jail. While in jail, she wrote a long letter to her judge and told them about everything that the gospel and even with proof that she was doing that, he let her go and look at where his family is now in the church.
It really reminded me of the story that dad told me about him going to visit a lady that ended up being the lady that introduced his grandma to the church. I don't remember the details, so could you have dad send me an email telling me that story. I think its way cool. I really hope that things with going to Germany work out. Kolja as called me a few times. I think that it would be way legit to see Spencer up here in Budapest. I miss that kid so I will try to do what I can to see him. I really think that it would be fun to take some pictures with him here in Budapest.
As for now I'm loving it here. I had a dream the other night where I was bearing my testimony to the branch here and it was soooo sad. I really love these people and I hope that I can always keep in touch with them. Maybe someday you can come with me to visit them. They for some reason are just sooo awesome.
As for anything else, like I think that I have said before, we are trying to get some of the less or inactive members to come back and so far it seems that some might come back and that others are coming back slowly but surely
I love you guys and Hope all is well. Can you believe im in the 50s of coming home. WAIT WHAT?
Peace guys, until next time.
Love Josh

It's all good, I understand that it's not all that easy to write things when there really isn't anything going on.
As for here there are a lot of inactives that we're trying to work with and I hope that we can help them get back. It's coming slowly and we know that we can help a few. Some of the others are going to take some more work and we hope that we can help the others.
There are a few that have already come back to an extent so it's a work in progress.
It's cool that Kolja wants to do this for me. I really hope that things get worked out. I have no power really to do anything from here.
Things are going great with my comp. Last night was funny. For some reason we both had bought those sicky hands that you guys love.....NOT (we bought them earlier in the week obviously) but then we began to start fighting with them and they broke because of our awesome power or just because they're cheap sticky material, but after they broke, it turned into throwing them at eachother. We each had one so he was in the kitchen and I was the main room and there was a door and a walkway between the two, so then we turned around and basically gave the other a free shot and then have two shots to nail the other. I think that it was the funniest when I would through it and then it would end up hitting him and jiggling around when it stuck to him. lol!
Well let me know how things are going with my brothers. I have a letter for each of them to send out soon. Along with other ones.
Love you guys
